Sold-Out Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun Nationals
Brings Nation’s Best Shooters to Las Vegas
WHO: 250 of the nation's fastest rifle, pistol, and shotgun shooters will compete for the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) 3-Gun National Championship. The “Open,” “Tactical,” and “Limited” titles are all up for grabs.

WHAT: USPSA’s 3-Gun National Championship pits competitors equipped with a wide variety of rifles, pistols, and shotguns against 12 complex shooting problems, called “stages.” Over four days, competitors will race their way through, consuming more than 355 rounds of ammunition. The winners - one for each division - will truly be the best multi-gun shooters in the country.
The match is completely sold out!

WHY:
Individuals compete for national titles and merchandise prizes. Scoring for all events is based on speed and accuracy (points earned per second). For further information contact Dave Thomas, USPSA Executive Director, at (360) 855-2245 (office) or (360) 708-6828 (cell).
USPSA competition evolved from “combat shooting” matches held in the early 1970s when a group of fast-draw artists, Hollywood types who taught actors to shoot, active police officers and firearms enthusiasts came together to decide what techniques and equipment actually worked best. Those first experiments changed the face of handgun training AND launched a spin-off -- the sport of practical pistol shooting, with USPSA as its governing body.
